1. The Purpose of Assessments

The main goal of the eLearning program is to foster learning. To achieve this, each module includes an assessment, typically in the form of multiple-choice quizzes or other activities.

These assessments are designed to gauge your understanding of the content and your ability to apply the knowledge you’ve acquired.

2. Accessing an Assessment

When you get to the end of a course section, click on the hyperlink to go to the activity (e.g.  a quiz).
For example:

You can also, alternatively click on the Quiz link in the left Course Menu.

3. Before you Start
Before you attempt an assessment (e.g. a quiz), please note the restrictions and the requirements.
A typical restriction is that the requirement for a previous activity needs to be met.  In this example, Quiz 2 cannot be taken before the activity for the section is completed (say, read) and you need to have passed the previous Quiz 1

There could also be a deadline for closing.
The assessment requirements could include a passing grade. For example, "You will have three attempts at the complete quiz to achieve 70% (4 points of possible 7), the pass mark required for this section"

4. A Walk through the Quiz Process

For each question, after answering, click "check" to see if your answer is correct for each question. If it is incorrect, or partially correct, take note. Once you submit the entire quiz, you view your mark and review all your answers. If you do not pass, you can reattempt the entire quiz.

Note that only once you have made three attempts, or the quiz is closed, will you be given the right answer for your incomplete or incorrect answers.

Once you have passed, the next section will be unlocked.
If you are, for some reason, unsuccessful after three attempts, don't stress - contact us via WhatsApp and we will assist.
